Learning About Fire
We were learning how to handle fire tonight! The kids made "chimneys" to help the fire burn better, blew on sticks to make them burst into flames, and experimented with different thicknesses of wood to see how they burned.
Little House
Introduced the kids to Laura Ingalls Wilder yesterday. We talked about how her family moved in a covered wagon to several Midwestern states, found them on the map, and then made our own covered wagon with pool noodles.
